English version at least...

Sorry for the english speaker who are coming on that blog and don't find a word in english...
The trip in SA was so busy and I had so little time for Internet and even less for translation...

Just to sum-up it was WONDERFUL !

We saw the friends, not all of them unfortunately, due to festive season and contacts that were lost. But we were so happy to meet some of them : host families, former volunteers, friends...

And indeed we made new friends so we are already looking forward to go back. :-)

You will find hereunder some of the highlights

Christmas in Trompsburg with my host family. We were mors than 20 people and the 3 french ladies. We drunk lut of wine and had a braaï on the 25th. Father christmas was ther too, an unflatable one, so funny ! It was also the opportunity to go back to the township and see the friends. Unfortunately many were not there, but I saw a lot of them. We had a strange time during the night of the 24th, driving in the township completely drunk, and being a bit scared because the people didn't know yet I was there so we didn't feel very secured... Leaving was the toughest part of the trip, I couldn't stop crying this day.

The next best time was Sodwana bay, where we almost lost Alexia, falling from a « clif » Again we had drink a bit and I think she couldn't see where to step ! :-) The funniest was when she fall a second time, everybody was laughing so much that we couldn't get her back. Ok it wasn't so much a clif, but something like falling from a dune...
We wish we could have seen the turtules but were not so lucky... and just had a 4 hours walk, almost 5.... But we had a very good time with the guide and manager of the backpacker, Ben ! Thank you for your time it really made our time in Sodwana wonderful and special.

The pony trekking in Lesotho was also amazing, just being there and meet the people. The silence and the quietness and the sun at least, we were missing it after 3 rainy days in East London. We laughed a lot with Jacob our giude and Carole show us her jumping skills !!! It was again hard to leave the place and we would have like to stay there for some weeks...

Just look at the pictures and you see that SA is still the beautiful place we know. And people are still the same.
You remember African Time ? Didn't change. You remember waiting for hours in a taxi ? Didn't change (it's even worst when we were sick in Underberg, waiting under the sun for 1 more person to arrive...)

I'm already saving to go back !
